Colorful hot air balloons will fly at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018

Beginning today, March 23, 2018, until Sunday, March 25, 2018, about thirty (30) colorful hot air balloons from across the globe will fly the skies of Lubao in Pampanga at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018.

The spectacle will delight guests, as it had done so for the last for years, with artistically-produced hot air balloons in the morning while local artists will serenade guests in the evening. The event is being held at Pradera Verde.

Visitors can look forward to a lot of surprises at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 aside from the usual favorite ground and aerial activities. Most notable is the music festival, owing to the success of last year’s music fete. As such, attendees can expect to be entertained throughout the day with exciting music from some of the most popular artists around.

The Lubao International Balloon Festival, Inc. (LIBF) is the lead proponent of the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 together with Forthinker, Inc., and in cooperation with the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga (ACTO) and with support from the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

How to go to the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018


If you are coming from Manila


  • Ride any Genesis, Victory Liner, and Bataan Transit bus going to Olangapo or Balanga and ask the bus conductor if they will pass by Lubao, Pampanga.
  • If the bus will pass Lubao, then ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 will take place.
  • All bus liners take a bus stop over in Lubao.
  • Genesis bus stop over terminal is a walking distance away from Pradera Verde
  • For Victory Liner, it’s 15 minutes away from Pradera Verde

If you are coming from San Fernando, Pampanga


  • Ride a Jeepney going to Sta.Cruz or Gua-Gua. Go down at the Jeepney Terminal
  • In the Jeepney Terminal. Ride a Jeepney going to Dinalupihan. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 will take place

If you are coming from Bataan and Olongapo


  • Ride a Jeepney going to Dinalupihan, Bataan. Go down at the Jeepney Terminal
  • In the Jeepney Terminal. Ride a Jeepney going to Sta. Cruz or Gua-Gua. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 will take place
  • Ride a Victory Liner bus going to San Fernando, Pampanga, or Manila. ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 will take place

On March 23, 2018 expect performances from Moira, Ex Battalion, and Silent Sanctuary. On March 24, 2018 fans of Maymay & Edward may catch the love team in the morning while in the evening, there will be performances from Pop Star Royalty Sarah Geronimo, crooner Ronnie Liang, The Voice Kids Champion Jona Soquite, and Your Face Sounds Familiar finalist Michael Pangilinan.

On the last day, March 25, 2018, love team Mccoy & Elisse will grace the event. In the evening, catch the music of Up Dharma Down and the premier artist Bamboo.
