Superior quality is definitely not inexpensive, and Wildflour Cafe is not afraid to announce just that. I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, but I have never really tried eating here because I was too afraid of their prices. The closest I have been to enter their branch at Bonifacio Global City to check their pastries, it was that; I did not even buy any of their beautiful baked goodies on display.

It made quite an impression on me because of the cool and cozy interiors flooded with natural light because of the all-glass walls. The interiors are predominantly black and spartan. I have remained intrigued by this restaurant, as such, when my wife offered to take out dinner for me from their Salcedo outlet, I readily said yes. At long last, I could have a taste of Wildflour’s offerings.

Khris ordered a big salad and a thick slab of grilled pork chop. The salad, the name of which I sadly could not recall, was one of the best I have tasted so far. It had lettuce, arugula, cherry tomatoes, avocado cubes, mango cubes, blue cheese, bacon bits, and chicken chunks. It was so good on its own. In fact, I was already halfway through it when I realized I had not yet used its dressing. It was so delicious and refreshing that I could not stop eating it.

The pork chop, meanwhile, is every meat lover's dream. It was a thick slice of meat, perfectly seasoned and grilled. It was also good; smoky with hints of seasonings and spices. However, it lacked a tad bit more tenderness. Had it been soft to the bite, it would have been perfect.

The price is around P1,500 for two people but it was definitely well worth it.
